Making a difference...
The biggest difference that people make in the lives ofothers isn't accomplished by writing a check. It is accomplished by doing small things, consistently and well, here in out church. All Saints' volunteers can and do make a difference. It is not a difference that will be seen on the evening news or the front page of the paper. It's not even a difference that requires you to do anything out of the ordinary. It isn't glamorous work. And, it doesn't pay anything. But it is important work. Every good and wonderful thing that happens at All Saints happens because of God's love, grace, and our wonderful volunteers!
The Children's Ministry's program is certainly no exception. There would be no Children's Ministries program without volunteers. With the exception of out Children and Youth Directors of Christian Education and Nursery staff, the entire program is run by volunteers. It takes 100+ generous souls each month to man our children's activities alone. It is not necessary to have a Masters in Child Development, Religious Studies or Art to qualify. All that is needed is a warm heart, loving hands, and as little as one Sunday a month of your time.
There are multiple ways to volunteer, from short- to long-term. If you re interested in discovering the rewards of volunteering in the Children's Ministries area with our youth, plese call the Christian Education Office (288-8811 ext. 113). We'd love to hear from you.
