Boy Choir Recruitment Event
October 16, 2008 6:00pm
Interested boys and their parents are encouraged to attend and learn about the opportunities
that choir membership offers. In November the choir will make their fifth trip to England
where they will perform and tour. For more information, contact Andy Koebler at 288-781, or
akoebler@AllSaintsRichmond.org.
Few churches offer a music program so rich in history and tradition!
In 1899, All Saints ...then located downtown on Franklin Street... started a
Choir of Men and Boys.
This choir is now celebrating over one hundred years of music
in the city of Richmond. In the last 16 years, the
Choir of Men and Boys at All Saints has appeared in Great
Britain four (4) times and visited most recently in November of
2004; it has sung at The National Cathedral in Washington D. C.
and it has produced a recording and made several triumphant tours throughout the East Coast.

But music here is far more than just a choir of men and boys! There are two other choirs, not counting a choir which sings in the summer, appropriately called the Summer Choir, which is open to anyone, regardless of ability or musical experience.

An adult choir of over thirty people sings in Sunday services on an alternating basis with the
Choir of Men and
Boys. This group is known for the performance of a great breadth of music literature: from the Renaissance to the post-modern, from English anthems to spirituals, the
Adult Choir sings it all!
10:30 - Choir of Men and Boys
11:15 - Men and Boys
We warmly invite you to our special events which unless otherwise noted are at 5:00 PM.
In addition to
the two choirs which sing each Sunday of the academic year, a
Choir of Girls completes the trio of singing groups. First through sixth grade young ladies make up a group of approximately twenty singers who perform in worship on a regular basis.
