GENERAL INFORMATION
In 1963, in response to a need for early childhood education in Henrico County, All Saints Episcopal Church established a weekday school for young children. The church recognized the vital importance of early childhood education for children in the community. All Saints Episcopal Preschool is registered with the child care division of Virginia Department of Social Services.
The mission of All Saints Episcopal Preschool is to provide a loving, enthusiastic and educational environment for preschool age children through developmentally appropriate activities. This approach encourages children to grow in a well-rounded manner with attention his or her social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual needs.
Our teachers have a wide variety of experience and education. As a team we continue to grow professionally each year through training and seminars in the field of Early Childhood Education. We strive to learn new and creative approaches to support our mission in serving children and families. All of our preschool staff is trained in First Aid and CPR.
Parents play a vital role in our preschool program. Families can be a very active part of each day through support of school sponsored charities, fund raising and holiday party planning. There are also opportunities to be a room parent, classroom reader or substitute teacher. Parents and families are welcome anytime to visit their child at school.
CLASSES OFFERED
Students must be the correct age by September 30th to enter the class.
Pre-Kindergarten Class: Five Days per week. Four and Five year olds who will be attending kindergarten the following year. 9:00am-12:00pm
Four Year Old Class: Option of four or five days per week. Four year olds who are able, but may not be attending kindergarten the following year. 9:00am-12:00pm
Three Year Old Class: Option of two, three or five days per week. Children must also be toilet trained to enter this class. 9:00am-12:00pm
Two Year Old Class: Option of two or three days per week. 9:00am-12:00pm
16 month – 23 month Old Class: Offered one day per week. 9:00am-11:45am
*Music and chapel are offered each week to students
EXTENDED HOURS
Additional childcare hours before and after school which require separate contracts.
Early Drop: 8:15am-school open
Lunch Bunch: noon-1:45pm (students will bring a lunch and play with friends)
ENRICHMENT CLASSES
Special programs offered after school in 10 week sessions.

HOW TO APPLY
Please call the school for more information and to set up a tour of our school. We would love to hear from you. At that time we can give you an application.
Please return your application with a $50 non-refundable processing fee. A contract will be issued with class information. An enrollment deposit of $400 is due with the signing of the contract. The $400 deposit will be applied to the tuition.
The first half of the remainder of the tuition is due August 1, 2008.
The second and final payment of the tuition is due January 15, 2009.
Please note that priority placement is given to returning All Saints Episcopal Preschool families and All Saints Episcopal Church members. Priority enrollment begins in January.
New student placement begins in February in the order applications are received.Once again, thank you for your interest in our school. We hope you will join us in this upcoming school year.
