Angel Tree - Gifts Due December 7
Make a difference this Christmas and adopt a child off of our angel tree. Stop by the Narthex (back of the church) on Sunday or during the week and grab an ornament off the tree. Be sure to sign your name on the clipboard to indicate which child you are adopting. All gifts are due (wrapped and labeled) to All Saints by Wednesday, December 7 at 4pm.
Saturday Lunch Ministry
You may remember the Urban Feeding Ministry from before COVID. We have since revamped this rewarding ministry and we are excited to announce we will be continuing this for 2022 and renaming it the Saturday Lunch Ministry. We will be in charge of packing lunches on months with a 5th Saturday. If you are interested in helping with future events, please email Winston to sign up or with questions. Stay tuned for the next event in 2023.
Red Cross Blood Drives - Held Throughout the Year
Stay up to date with the latest events by subscribing to our newsletter or liking us on Facebook. We hold Blood Drives in our Parish Hall 4-5 times per year. Next Blood Drive is Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 8:00am-1:00pm.
Welborne United Methodist Food Pantry
We have partnered with the Welborne Church Community Food Pantry to help our
local community during these difficult times. Their mission is "to serve those who are
hungry in the West End of Richmond, feeding bodies and feeding hearts by loving our
neighbor." We are collecting donations for their food pantry at All Saints. Canned food,
rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereals, mac and cheese, and individually wrapped snacks
can be left in the green shed by our playground. Please no glass containers of any kind.
For more information, you can visit their facebook page for news and updates.
If you’re looking to volunteer, the Food Pantry needs you!
Please send an email to administration@welbornechurch.org.
All Saints Community Garden
Check out the All Saints community Garden, on the east end of the parking lot. We
have raised beds perfect for growing a variety of vegetables. Our preschool uses a
portion of the garden to help the children learn about how food is grown and where it
comes from. The farm fresh bounty will be given to help feed the needy in our
community. We are looking for individuals or groups to help keep our garden clean
and productive. If interested in helping even for an hour or two, please sign up here.
We will contact our volunteers on an as needed basis for assistance.

Rise Against Hunger
We host an annual meal packaging event for Rise Against Hunger, an
international hunger relief organization that distributes food and
life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary
resources to end hunger by 2030. 815 million people across the world do not
receive enough nutrition to lead an active, healthy lifestyle. All Saints hosts a
family-friendly meal packaging event each fall. Look out for information
about this event in our publications.
Church Workdays
Typically held in the Fall and the Spring, we hold two workdays to tackle indoor and outdoor projects. This is a great volunteer event for all ages. Jobs range from weeding in the garden to dusting and cleaning the pews in the church. Look out for these events in our weekly newsletter.
