Manger Window

Mangers are feeding troughs for horses and cattle.  One was utilized as a cradle for the newborn Jesus. Featuring the Chi Rho (the first two letters of Christ in Greek, Chi “X” and Rho “P”) above the manger, this window commemorates “the generous act of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich” (II Corinthians 8:9).
